We are enjoying a late spring snow/ice storm as I write this. Andy and I have made a leap of faith that moving the winery from our original location in Lowell to build a production facility at the blueberry farm in Grand Junction will pay off in the long run. Unfortunately, in the short run it means we are in limbo in terms of production until we can upgrade one of our current barns to meet food/wine production specs from a Health Department perspective.
That said, we have plenty of stock that we recently finished fermenting and bottling prior to our move that will support our many retail and restaurants outlets until our new production facility is up an running late summer, just in time for this year's harvest! We are also actively pursuing a location for a tasting room in order to provide our customers with an enjoyable experience that could include sipping a glass of blueberry wine with a nice bit of appetizer.
Stay tuned for more on this exciting development! In the meantime, please continue to support our many great vendors and let them know that you want to see more Henry's Heritage Blueberry Wine on the shelf. Nastrovia! Janet Lawrence.
